Since the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, people have needed to find alternative ways to communicate with friends and family and in our case, group members. IAM RoadSmart know that many of our groups are using Zoom and various other platforms to hold group meetings, quizzes and other social events. Recently one local group experienced an unpleasant experience known as ‘Zoom Bombing’. This is where uninvited users gain access to the meeting for nefarious purposes. If inadequate privacy settings are applied to the meeting, it may be vulnerable to Zoom Bombing. As a result, the host must take some basic precautions. Wiltshire Police have put together some guidelines which you should follow to ensure your meeting is secure.
