As previously mentioned in Inform, IAM RoadSmart are founder members of a new coalition of motorcycle riders organisations – the National Motorcyclists Council (NMC). The NMC was formally launched in a virtual event on Friday 5th March. The event was well attended by over 60 participants including 5 MPs and Charley Boorman of ‘Long Way Up’ fame. The MPs were very supportive of the concept and are looking forward to assisting the NMC in its promotion of the safety, environmental and economic benefits of motorcycling.
