Observed riding – new guidelines on the way

New guidelines for observed riding on the way…

Further to the advice in last week’s Inform, IAM RoadSmart is preparing new guidelines for future observed rides so that they can start again as quickly as possible in the event of any further easing of the lockdown in England and Northern Ireland.  They will be updated when Wales and Scotland move from their current status of lockdown.

For now, Group rides and observed runs do not fit within the guidelines for any UK nation. For advanced riders in England and Northern Ireland, we reiterate, if you are accompanied on your travels it should be by a member of your household (or one socially distanced friend so two bikes).  The restrictions are in place for a valid reason to slow the spread of the virus.
