Last weekend, 18 of our intrepid members embarked on this year’s start of summer ride. Organised and led by Clive Lewis, our Social Secretary, the ride took in 250 miles of some of the best motorcycling roads in North Yorkshire. Starting at Rockingham Services, Birdwell, the team headed north for Breakfast at Church Fenton, before continuing to the overnight hotel stop at Yarm via the Helmsley TT.
Sunday was spent wandering back via Richmond, Leyburn, Middleham, Masham and Ripon. As the weather conditions were glorious, this resulted in near perfect riding conditions on both days. We are already starting to plan for this year’s end of summer ride, so reserve your place early to avoid disappointment.
